Meet the Co-chairsKyle Aud
My name is Kyle Aud and I am originally from Whitesville, KY. I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Systems in December of 2002. I’m now a resident of Owensboro and have been for the past year. Professionally, I am a Business Services Officer with BB&T where I help local businesses with their financial needs. I have been with BB&T since December of 2004 and have served in my current role since February of this year. As a newer member of CYP and upon my recent return to Owensboro, I’ve developed strong feelings for increasing the number of young professionals in our community and I think CYP is a great organization to help stem this increase. Before becoming the CYP co-chair, I was chair for the Membership committee where the goal was to help increase the number of members. Membership will still be a focus, not so much towards increasing the number of new members, but finding ways to increase participation among existing members. I look forward to working with Adam and the various committees in finding ways to get the younger professionals in our community involved. Adam Hancock
My name is Adam Hancock and I am originally from Owensboro, KY. I graduated from Kentucky Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in accounting in December of 2004. Shortly thereafter, I joined Riney, Hancock & Co., PSC, a regional accounting firm with offices in Owensboro and Evansville, IN. There I was able to further my knowledge of accounting and gain the experience required to become a Certified Public Accountant. Today, I am a Senior Accountant in the Audit and Assurances Division where I specialize in Auditing, Tax, and Accounting and Assurance Services. In joining the CYP, it was my goal to become more involved in the community and specifically build relationships with other young professionals. My experience to date with the CYP has been just that, allowing me to meet many talented, successful young professionals while becoming more involved through community service. As the co-chair for 2008, my goals are similar, increasing membership and participation so that members will gain the benefit of community involvement and relationships with other professionals. I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to working with Kyle, the committees, and those working behind the scenes, to help make this group even stronger in the future. |
